Professional Evaluation

Card Pre-Grading

We evaluate your raw cards using the same criteria PSA, BGS, and TAG apply — before you spend on submission fees. Know your grade. Protect your investment.

The Evaluation

What We Inspect On Every Card

The same four criteria that grading companies use. We check them methodically, document them, and give you a written report.

Centering

We measure front and back centering precisely. PSA 10 requires 55/45 or better (front) and 75/25 (back). A card that looks centered often isn't. This kills more 10s than anything else.

Corners

All four corners are inspected under magnification and raking light. Even hairline tip wear drops a card from 10 potential. We grade each corner individually before averaging.

Edges

Rough edges, chips, and surface tears are identified under 10x magnification. Factory edge issues are noted separately from post-pack handling damage.

Surface

We check both surfaces for print lines, haze, light scratches, and indentations. Surface issues are often invisible in casual lighting but obvious to graders — and to us.

Grade Probability Report

Not Just A Number — A Full Breakdown

Every pre-grade includes a probability breakdown across PSA and BGS. You'll know the likelihood of each grade tier before you commit to a submission company.

📋 Sample Report — Charizard VMAX (Champion's Path) · Centering: 52/48 F, 60/40 B · Corners: 9/10 · Edges: 10/10 · Surface: 9.5/10
